AC Milan’s Mathieu Flamini has expressed his views on who are the greatest of all the players he has played with at San Siro. outfit.
Recently talking to the media, Flamini said:
“The best I’ve played with here is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldinho-c31733. He was really impressive, a great player”.
In response to a question regarding the maddest player at Milan, the defensive midfielder said:
“Zlatan Ibrahimovic is by far the maddest player at the Milan who has a great urge to succeed”.
Flamini is on his way to win the Italian top flight for the very first time and he was asked to tell how he feels. The midfielder replied:
“I’ve had a lot of opportunities to demonstrate what I can give to the team. When you have the trust of the Coach then things are a lot simpler. I’m very happy to be here. Life in Milan is good and I also feel Italian. Milan, one of the best sides in the
world, was the right choice for me”, he concluded.
The French International midfielder joined the Rossoneri in the summer of 2008 from the English Premier League outfit Arsenal FC under a contract that keeps him at San Siro until the summers of 2012.
Initially, the defensive midfielder didn’t see much of first team action at the Italian top flight and was reckoned to be disappointed to leave the Gunners, where he had much more action as a starter.
The midfielder was thought of as a replacement player only at the Diavolo but with the passage of time, Flamini showed great consistency with his form on the field and his physical fitness and eventually cemented his position in the Rossoneri starting team.
During the ongoing 2010/11 season, Flamini has been able to find much more time on the field for the Rossoneri and has scored two goals for the outfit as well.
