AC Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani adamant about not selling Ronaldinho

Being one of the greatest players on the planet, all top notch clubs would like to have him by their side but Ronaldinho who currently plays for AC Milan is going nowhere and the Vice President of the club has made sure that his voice is heard loud and clear.
Adriano Galliani, the man second in command after AC Milan’s President, has told that the Italian club has no intentions of selling the player to any club in the world. He told that this was a mutual will and the Brazilian maestro has agreed with it.
This has made it clear to all clubs like Inter Milan, Manchester City, Real Madrid and many more that the 30 year old player is not for sale this summer. This has not been relayed for the first time after the last season. Since the end of the 2009-10 season clubs have been looking forward to sign in the one man army; Ronaldinho, who is known for changing the situation of match all alone with the help of his exuberant skills.
Ronaldinho was not included in the 23 men squad chosen to fly to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup. Their sacked coach Dunga had dropped him from the World Cup that saw the lack of many star players from other countries too.
Brazil were drawn in the group of death in the World Cup but their entrance from the group stages was expected. Portugal was the other team that qualified along with them from the group. In the round of 16 they defeated Chile 3-1 and proceeded to the quarter finals but there they were met by the under dogs Netherlands and after a tough and thrilling match were defeated 2-1.
Critics lambasted Dunga saying that his strategies were all wrong and so was his choice of players; Ronaldinho’s omission was brought on as a subject again. Even the Brazilian legend Pele had words against him. He stated that the coach had destroyed the traditional attacking game of the Brazilians and should not have changed the typical nature of game of his players.
Leaked pictures however showed that Ronaldinho was indeed enjoying his vacations during the World Cup. The pictures showed a chubby Ronaldinho running around the beach in his briefs. With the season about to start, the transformation the player has to go through will be interesting to see.
During the summer many clubs went after the coveted players but clubs like LA Galaxy, Flamengo and West Ham United were the ones most interested in the player as other rich clubs had many other options too. Ronaldinho’s deal with AC Milan finishes in 2011 and that is one of the reasons why other clubs have all of a sudden started taking more interest in him.
The Vice President Galliani has however endorsed the decision of the President of AC Milan, Silvio Berlusconi, who had earlier said that the Brazilian player will stay with the club till the end of his career.
While talking to media the Galliani stated, “He is a Milan player, we will not give him up, and the hypothesis should not even be considered. He has never asked to be transferred. He will remain at Milan next season and I hope even longer. It's true Galaxy are interested in him. After David Beckham, they want another star but Galaxy will have to wait for many more years”.
To finish the whole Ronaldinho departure matter, the Vice President and General Manager of AC Milan went personal and exclaimed, “There is absolutely no possibility that Ronaldinho leaves. His brother/agent is a friend of mine who I courted for two years before Ronaldinho started with us. I will meet him in the upcoming months especially to extend Ronaldinho's contract, certainly not to discuss his departure”.
The Italian also informed that there will be no more singings from the club this year. He told that the last signings of the club were that of the shot-stopper Marco Amelia from Genoa (on loan), Mario Yepes, the defender from Chievo, and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, the right back from Genoa. He also expressed that the new manager Massimiliano Allergi is very happy with his signings and is looking forward to a prosperous season.
The 65 year old Galliani announced, “The market is closed, assuming no one departs, this is the team. If someone does leave, then someone will come. If a small part: then a little reinforcement, if medium: an average one, and if a champion leaves: then a champion will arrive. But I think this will be our squad”.
