The Rossoneri goalkeeper believes that the Milan outfit still supports a very competitive squad despite losing so many players in the summer.

The Rossoneri have recently sold http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 to Paris Saint-Germain, in a deal that is reported to have brought them €65 million in cash.
The decision to sell two of their best players has not been well received by the fans, especially due to the fact that many of the club’s veterans namely http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mark-van-Bommel-c24148 have already left the club following
the end of the 2011-12 season.
Abbiati was of the view that AC Milan is not the only team that has remained dull in the summer transfer window, and believes that they still have the potential to challenge the best teams in Serie A.
The Rossoneri goalkeeper pointed out that Juventus have also done little buying in the summer transfer window.

Abbiati went on to stress that AC Milan are on the lookout for new players in the market, but maintained that there is little need for purchases as the Milan outfit already supports a strong squad.
While talking to the press, the 35-year-old said:
“Juventus are the same side as last season, with a few reinforcements. Inter are in the same situation as us, but we will challenge for the Scudetto with these teams, even if http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 could be in the race too. I think Milan will probably move on the
market, but we do not need more reinforcements, as we are already competitive.”
