AC Milan eyeing Miroslav Klose on a free transfer – Serie A Update
According to reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Miroslav-Klose-c26049, to San Siro. The striker currently plays for the Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, and is unlikely to receive a contract extension at Allianz Arena.
According to the Italian news network, Corriere dello Sport, the German international would be available to the Serie A Champions on a free transfer, which makes the deal highly fruitful for the Italians. The Rossoneri have been tracking the player since
the first week of April, but no official statement or offer has been reported as yet.
The 32-year-old hitman has been prone to injuries and he has been on and off the pitch most of the time. His current contract with Die Bayern expires in June and he is currently in the process of speaking terms with the club officials. In the situation,
the Rossoneri are examining the scenario closely, waiting for the opportunity to come and if Klose fails to find an extension in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904, he would be coming over to the Italian top flight.
The German outfit and Klose have disagreements regarding the contract extension discussions. Bayern Munich are willing to extend the player’s contract until the summer of 2012 with a pay-cut. Furthermore, the player will automatically have his contract renewed
for a further season should he play more than 20 games in the 2011/12 season. The clause has been inserted due to the player’s lack of fitness; the outfit need the player fully fit if he is to regain his old position.
Klose has been left disappointed by the terms and conditions set by the outfit and he wants the Bavarians to reconsider the deal. The former Werder Bremen striker wants a two-year extension to his current contract until while he also wants his wages to remain
the same.
The stage is set for AC Milan to wait patiently and make their move when the time is right, as the player would be considering his exit options and the Diavolo, being this season’s Scudetto winners, would be one of the best options to avail for the German.
