The Flying Donkey’s boss insists that his team’s promising performance against the Rossoneri did not deserve a no-points result for the hosts.
The Gialloblu boss has commended his team for a resolute performance against the champions, and insists that it is unfortunate that their hard work in the match yielded them no fruit.

The Gialloblu manager extolled the team for their wonderful display of open football against the champions, and insisted that the team deserves all the praise for the way they approached the game, despite the disappointing result.
The tactician insisted that it is a pity that his team conceded from the only shot on goal that the opposition could muster, and failed to put one in the enemy’s net despite several scoring opportunities.
While talking to the press, the former Parma coach said:
“We played an open game of football and I have to compliment my side for their mentality. Milan scored with their only shot on goal, while we made too many errors in front of the net. It was a shame that the result went the way it did because it doesn’t
reward us for the performance we put in.”
The former Sampdoria manager insisted that it is important to stay optimistic while deriving lessons from the lost game. He insisted that the positive performance against a giant of Italian football can be used to boost up their confidence, in order to finish
their season in the best possible way. The coach urged his team to give their best in the remaining games of the league.
“Let’s take the positives from this game and use them to end the season in the best possible manner. We have to give our all until the end.”
Chievo Verona have 42 points in the Serie A, and are adequately away from being sucked up into the relegation zone as the season nears its close.
