The Rossoneri recently sold two of their best players in a huge deal to the Parisians in an effort to wash away their towering debts, despite the fact that they had already lost a number of senior members of the squad at the end of the 2011-12 season.
Flamini stated that Massimiliano Allegri has not lost his poise despite losing two of his best players, and maintained that the coach is motivated to do well in the upcoming season.
The Rossoneri midfielder was adamant that the Milan outfit still possesses enough quality in their ranks to challenge for trophy in every tournament, in which they participate in the upcoming season.
The Diavolo playmaker was of the view that his club still owns a lot of big players, and insisted that it will not be a surprise to see the team do well in the next year’s UEFA Champions League.
While talking to Goal.com, the 28-year-old said:
"The coach is very confident too. Of course, we lost two huge champions. Zlatan and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-c34888 are key players. But I am sure we have enough quality on this team to perform and to do well. We have enough quality to play for every cup. Starting with Serie A and
the Champions League. Milan are a big team with big players."
Flamini went on to state that the departure of senior members has left the remaining players in the Rossoneri squad with more responsibility to shoulder, and insisted that one of the most important attributes of the team is the way they gel together into
a single unit.
"Yes, they have more on their shoulders now, but I'm sure they will like it. Everyone is very together [at Milan]. It's important to work hard and play together." He added.
