The head coach of the Rossoneri outfit went on to state that they will be taking each game as it came and reflected on their first two match in the Italian Lega.
In an interview which reflected on various aspects of the situation at the Rossoneri club, the head coach of the San Siro outfit went on to discuss the upcoming matches of the Diavolo outfit. Coach Allegri also shed light on the matches that had already
taken place in the Lega.
The Giuseppe Meazza outfit had the worst possible starts to their opening match of the new season; they were pipped against Sampdoria. A definite victory was predicted for the Milanello outfit, but it was not meant to be. Sampdoria claimed an unlikely victory,
which put heaps of pressure on the Diavolo outfit at the start of the campaign.
When quizzed about his perspective on the matches that the team had already played in the season, Allegri was philosophical in his opinion, and went on to state that anything was possible, they could have managed to draw both the matches and be sitting with
two points. However, they are on 3 points from their first two games.
However, the coach was not deluding himself in his evaluation, and reiterated the need for the club to be more prolific and improve in their overall play. He emphasised on the need of the players to be free from any pressure, and be at ease psychologically;
he further went on to state:
“We have to improve, especially in attack we have to be sharper. The team needs to be free mentally and not nervous about the result because we have a lot of new and young players in the squad.”
The head coach of the San Siro outfit then went on to discuss the hectic schedule they will be having; however, he exclaimed that they would be taking each task when they need to, and remarked:
“We have seven games in 21 days and we’ll prepare for them one at a time. That’s the best thing to do. Now we have Atalanta and after that we go to Anderlecht.”
Milan have a tricky group in the Champions League, and there are many who doubt that the club would be able to pull through to the knockout rounds.
