AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri happy with the results and the output of new players: Serie A Update
AC Milan head coach, Massimiliano Allegri is apparently very happy with his team’s achievement this season. The team is waiting patiently to re-embrace the Scudetto trophy after a drought of 7 years, a period in which their bitter city rivals, Inter Milan,
secured the title for 5 consecutive years.
This is Allegri's first season at Milan and it seems like a great start to his time in Italy. The men in the red and black jerseys, training under the former Italian midfielder have given a great achievement to the tactician, giving him his first title as
a manager.
Talking to the media, the tactician said, "I really like it when Milan are like this. Since January, the team is growing fast in terms of defence. Usually, the team having the best defence is winning the league, which is the case for my team."
AC Milan currently sit at the top of the Serie A rankings with 74 points and their closest rivals at the top, Inter Milan and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, have failed to put up a serious challenge for the Rossoneri. The Diavolo have been in top form, mainly due to the right
choices made in the transfer markets this season. The purchase of new players has added strength to the side and injured players have always had a suitable replacement ready.
Talking about the team’s output and investments in the transfer markets, Allegri said, "I was fortunate to arrive in the right year, when the club re-invest in the stock transfer. The previous transfers were good decisions and so will be the upcoming [transfers]."
The Devil acquired world class players during last year’s summer transfer market and this year’s transfer window as well. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mark-van-Bommel-c24148 are the mentionable names for the season and
these players have really given an advantage to the Rossoneri this season.
The attack led by Ibrahimovic, Robinho and Cassano has been one of the best in the league and the midfield has been well settled due to the versatility of Boateng and Van Bommel. Milan would be in search of similar quality players in the upcoming transfer
market to make the best out of the upcoming 2011/12 season.
