The Rossoneri have reiterated that their Brazilian striker will be making a quick recovery from his injury and mentioned that he
will be stronger than ever before.
The immensely gifted striker has had his fair share of injury concerns in the past two years. His recent injury lay-off is his 14th
injury in the last 27 months. This subsequently means that the striker gets injured every second month for more than two years. This is a very troubling statistic, one which has hampered Pato’s development and made his career into a start-stop career.
The Diavolo striker had recently come from Atlanta, USA, where he visited a specialist to diagnose the root of his persistent injuries. After
his return from Atlanta, he was named in the Milanello squad to play http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 in the second-leg at the Nou Camp.
Pato came on in the second-half but had to be taken off after a little while. He only got to play for 13 minutes after which he was taken off
as his injury resurfaced. The Rossoneri doctor, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pierre-c29989 Meersseman, was left bemused by the striker’s injuries and mentioned his grief after watching the Brazilian limp off the field.
AC Milan gave a statement on their website on Pato’s injuries, and they wrote:
“All at AC Milan are strongly determined to solve in a positive manner and within the shortest timeframe possible the muscle problems of
Alexandre Pato. Numerous roads both diagnostic and therapeutic remain open and there is no doubt that the current situation will be overcome in a satisfactory manner.
Pato will soon come back even stronger than before.”
After Pato’s return from the US, the AC Milan medical team and the club’s patrons were in agreement that they had found the answer to the consistent
injuries faced by the Brazilian. However, in retrospect they would be feeling that they rushed the forward into action.
This current injury has ruled the striker out for the season and the Diavolo star would be hoping that he gets to find a solution to his persistent
injuries sooner than later, so that he starts coming in the headlines for the right reasons.
