http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adriano-c3773 Galliani has stressed that the Rossoneri do not intend to make any more purchases in the summer transfer window, and will keep hold of all their star power.
AC Milan vice-president has revealed that the club will not let go of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan.
The striker has been paired with a summer move away from San Siro, while reports in the media are also linking the Milan outfit with a move for the abandoned Nerazzurri goalkeeper.
Adriano Galliani stressed that AC Milan have done all the transfer business that they wanted to do in the summer window, and stated that they have the squad that they want for their next season.
The Rossoneri chief went on to sideline all rumours that the club has received offers for Robinho, and insisted that there will be no changes in the attacking line-up of the team unless a forward decides to move away from San Siro.
The Diavolo vice-president stated that he is aware of all the lucrative opportunities in the market all over Europe, but maintained that the club has no desire to make any additions to their squad at the moment.
While talking to Sky Sport Italia, the 67-year-old said:
“Our transfer market is closed. We are covered in terms of numbers in all positions. There are no offers for Robinho. We have five strikers and if no one will leave then no one will arrive. I do keep informed about everything going on in Europe, but the truth is that our transfer market is closed.”
When asked about AC Milan’s interest in Julio Cesar, Galliani admitted his admiration for the Brazilian keeper, but maintained that the club has no need for another goalkeeper.
The Diavolo executive pointed out that they already have three keepers, and signing another one makes no sense.
“Julio Cesar? He is a great guy, a great player, a person whom I admire, but we have three goalkeepers and he will not arrive. We have http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gabriel-c14281 – a young goalkeeper who has won the Under-20 World Cup.”
