The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 World Cup winning player has gone on to state that the Rossoneri should have kept hold of the former Sampdoria striker for the current campaign.
Milan have come under increased amounts of criticisms for their performances in the league so far. The Rossoneri outfit had a massive exodus at the club during the latest edition of the summer transfer window and more than 13 players left the club in the
summer transfer window.
The old guard of AC Milan have left the club, and the only player remaining from the Athens Champions League victory is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Nesta-c4735
and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gennaro-Gattuso-c14525; and there seems to be a lack of leaders within the squad at the moment.
Besides dispensing their old guard, they have also let go of many of their top players as well, with the most notable departures being that of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903, who left the club for Paris Saint-Germain after their 60 million Euros joint
bid was accepted by the Diavolo outfit.
One of the last players to leave the club was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giampaolo-Pazzini-c14802 moving to the San Siro outfit.
Paolo Rossi, the legendary Juventus striker, has gone on to state that Cassano is a unique player who has creativity in abundance and that is exactly what Milan are missing. He also went on to state that he had that brilliance to see the final pass, and
went on to comment:
“Cassano is an inventor,” the former Juventus legend told Sky Sport Italia. “He had the inspiration to make the final pass. This is missing from Milan this season because Urby Emanuelson doesn’t have these characteristics.”
Rossi feels that Milan would perform a lot better when they have the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robinho-c31382, Pato and Montolivo playing in tandem, but stated that the team had desire, and remarked:
“This team has no identity, they only created chances thanks to their desire rather than with footballing ideas…”
Milan were held to a disappointing draw in this season’s Champions League opener.
