The former Biancoazzurri defender has gone on to state that despite the exits of many of the clubs
leaders, the Rossoneri still have great experience to rely on.
AC Milan has been in the limelight for a variety of reasons this summer, most of which have revolved around
the fact that they have let many of their experienced personnel leave the club. This has caused a void on the leadership front, as players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mark-van-Bommel-c24148 left the club after severing their ties.
To pile on their relative lack of strength within the squad, the club parted ways with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029
and Thiago Silva. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Massimo-Ambrosini-c24579 was absent from the squad, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic has always had a strong presence wherever he has played, even at Milan.
The pair were sold for 60 million Euros to Paris Saint-Germain, and as the players were not old, there was
a greater uproar from the Rossoneri fans after their departure from the club.

The Italian national was talking to the Gazzetta dello Sport and during his interview he went on to state
that the players are realistic, yet inspired to perform to the best of their abilities for the upcoming season. He remarked that they realised that it was going to be the dawn of a new era at the club and the players would rise up to the challenge.
He went ahead to comment:
“I feel motivated and have more responsibility on my shoulders because this is the end of an era.”
Disputing reports that there is a lack of leadership in the Rossoneri ranks, the player went on to state that
players will be guided well by Massimo Ambrosini and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Christian-Abbiati-c9046 for the upcoming season. He further remarked:
“I think this is true of everyone in the team. It was inevitable there would be a generational hand-over and we still have the guidance of veterans like
Massimo Ambrosini and Christian Abbiati. There are players in this squad who want to follow them.”
The defender went ahead to state that Juventus have proven that teams who play with a collective spirit can
trounce individually led teams.
