AC Milan striker Antonio Cassano has heaped praise on his team-mates http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029. The former Sampdoria striker, who joined Milan in the January transfer window, described Pato to be one of the best players of the world and rated
him only behind Barcelona sensation Lionel Messi. He also believed that it would be a delight to watch both the players in the same team.
"Pato is the strongest of all, I told him this. Only one player is greater than him, Messi. Both would complement each other and it would be exceptional to see them in the same team," Cassano said in an interview.
Cassano said that it was a joke to compare Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Serie A top scorer Edison Cavani ahead of the Milan http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 clash and described the Swede in another league altogether. The Italian believes that Ibrahimovic is the best striker in the world
and could play a vital part in the race for the title. He said that although Cavani is a good player, there is no comparison between the two strikers.
"Ibrahimovic - Cavani, the strongest? Let's not joke. What question is this? Cavani is a good player, but Ibrahimovic is from another category," added Antonio Cassano.
The Italian also said that he is confident of his team winning the Serie A title ahead of the clash with second placed Napoli. He insisted that his team is better than Napoli and deserves to win the Scudetto more than the Partenopei.
"As for Napoli, Walter Mazzarri believes they can win the Scudetto, but maybe he doesn't know Milan are stronger," said the former Sampdoria striker.
Antonio Cassano joined Milan in January this year and has since scored once in 11 games played for the Rossoneri.
Milan play Napoli at the San Siro this week, in a clash that could decide the Serie A title. A Milan win would take them five points clear of the Naples side whereas a win for Napoli would see them draw level on points with the Rossoneri.
