than accurate as the referee pointed towards a Napoli goal kick.

offside position before the ball was played to him.
Milan tired to play through their trequartista, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 and Alexandre Patom as their two forwards. In the midfield area, Genaro Gattuso, Van Bommel and Flamini were trusted to provide protection to Milan’s
back four.

Milan established themselves as the stronger side in the match around the 18th minute mark as they dominated the possession of the ball. However, their superiority was halted by the referee’s whistle as the officials pointed towards a free kick
for Napoli as Ibrahimovic was played in at an offside position.
In the 19th minute of the match, Milan’s home crowd appealed to the referee for a penalty kick as Ibrahimovic was brought down in the Napoli penalty area by Cannavaro but the match official whistled for a hand-ball by the muscular Swedish striker.
In the 20th minute, Milan was on the verge of getting their first goal of the match as Genaro Gattuso found himself in space outside the Napoli penalty area. However, the Rossoneri captain fired his shot well wide off the mark as he was leaning
back on the ball when he made contact with it.
