AC Milan’s Antonio Cassano invites interest from Fiorentina – Serie A news

transfer speculation.
The 28-year-old could well possibly be a Lillies player from the start of the next 2011/12 campaign. Fiorentina manager, Sinisa Mihajlovic, has confirmed the club’s interest in the striker and has wished to see him in Viola colours from the next season.
The coach insisted that the team needs to induct some fresh blood into their squad in order to achieve what they couldn’t in the ongoing 2010/11 season. Mihajlovic seemed furious at the current campaign and was also apologetic towards the fans who didn’t
get what they expected, at least a UEFA Europa Leage spot.
Since landing at San Siro, Cassano hasn’t had the privilege of starting in every game for the Champions but still impressed whenever he got a chance to play for Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
