AC Milan’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Clarence-Seedorf-c9275 still awaiting a new contract from the club - Serie A News
AC Milan’s attacking midfielder Clarence Seedorf has revealed that the Rossoneri have not offered him a new contract as yet and is considering other proposals. He admitted that he would love to continue representing the Italian outfit, but couldn’t help
it if he doesn’t get any indication for his contract renewal.
The veteran midfielder believes that he still has the legs to last another couple of seasons, but insisted that he would take any decision from the club officials and will respect it. Former Dutch international further confirmed that there are several other
clubs interested in him and he has no other choice apart from considering those offers as the season is coming towards its close.
It is believed that the South American club, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Corinthians-c38855, are very much interested in recruiting the midfielder and could make his way there provided AC Milan decides to part ways with the veteran. Seedorf also justified these claims and mentioned that he
would certainly like to make a move there in order to get maximum games under his belt before he calls it a day.
The four times UEFA Champions League winner while talking to a local sports channel added, “I am an http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adidas-c38219 player, so I’m here for them as much as AC Milan. There is no clarity on my future. I have not received any contract renewal offer from the club and
for that reason I am considering other proposals.”
Seedorf joined the Rossoneri outfit in 2002 and since then, he has been an integral member of their squad. The 35-year-old so far has made 279 League appearances for the club and has 44 goals under his belt.
The veteran seemed unperturbed by the present situation regarding his future and insisted that all his focus will remain on the current campaign. He also seemed delighted as his team are just a point away from securing the Scudetto and hoped that Milan could
finish the season on a high note.
He concluded by saying, “For now I will only focus on doing my duty from here to the end of the season. Hopefully we can clinch the Scudetto next week to then concentrate on the Coppa Italia semi-final with Palermo.”
AC Milan are currently leading the Serie A flight with 77 points and are eight points clear of their rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan with three games left to be played in the campaign.
