AC Milan’s President Silvio Berlusconi ready to welcome back Kaka – Serie A news
AC Milan President, Silvio Berlusconi, has expressed his desire to welcome back influential midfielder, Kaka, to Italy. The President was delighted at the achievement of his team after winning the Scudetto and wished to see Kaka back in his team ahead of
the upcoming 2011/12 season. The Brazilian currently plays for Spanish giants Real Madrid but has had an off season with Los Blancos.
The 29-year-old has been linked with English Premier League side, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, ignoring his former club. In spite of him being linked with the Blues, Berlusconi has made a last ditch effort
to sign the Brazilian and mentioned that both Milan and San Siro would welcome the midfielder with open arms.
He hailed the contribution of the Brazilian during his stay with the Rossoneri and insisted that Milan would give him complete time to think about his future. The Brazilian served six years with the Serie A outfit and managed 193 League appearances for Milan,
netting an impressive 70 goals in the process. He, then, signed off his duties from Italy and made a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 in 2009. Kaka has not made the mark with Los Galacticos that he anticipated and has made only 37 La Liga appearances, bagging 15 goals so far.
Further praising the Brazilian, President added, "Kaka is an extraordinary man and we are ready to welcome him back with open arms if he wants to come back to Milan,"
The President also ruled out the possibility of Napoli’s Marek Hamsik making a move to Milan. He mentioned that the Azzurri would not sell the midfielder with UEFA Champions League football awaiting them.
He concluded by applauding his entire Milan outfit, "The Scudetto is deserved and we are happy at Milan as we confirmed ourselves as being the most successful side in the world. There were some dramatic moments during the season, with many injuries, but
in the end we were able to win."
AC Milan have already been crowned the Serie A champions and will next be in action against Cagliari on Saturday, May 14.
