AC Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic not a threat, says Juventus coach Antonio Conte – Serie A Update
Former Juventus midfielder and current head coach, Antonio Conte, is not preparing any special tactics to handle AC Milan’s prolific striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029. Conte believes that Juve never focus on one player and their preparations for the upcoming game
against the defending champions will see them prepare regularly.
The match between the two giants of Italian football is scheduled for October 2. The Swedish striker has been sidelined due to an Adductor injury, which he sustained during training sessions at the start of this month. However, the talismanic hitman is expected
to return to the side when the Rossoneri visit Turin to face the Bianconeri.
However, the tactician believes that presence of Ibra will not change the course of the game and La Vecchia Signora will make usual preparations for the game. The coach was recently talking to Rai Sport, where he expressed his thoughts for the upcoming game.
Conte knows that AC Milan would be the favourites for the game as they are the defending champions, but he believes that Juve are certain to snatch the victory and stay unbeaten.
"We do not prepare for a match based on this or that player being present. We have our own mark, a very precise playing identity, and we want to implement it. The only thing we can do is to try to narrow the gap between ourselves and Milan; we are still
growing, they are big already," said the Juve coach.
Juve revamped their team during the recent summer transfer window, adding some of the best players available on the transfer market. The Lady Killers seem to have assembled a good quality team now and are ready for the challenges ahead. However, Conte believes
that only time will reveal the real output of the team.
"We've put together a squad to be competitive again but there's still a long way to go,” said Conte.
The current season has been great for the Turin giants and they have managed an unbeaten run through the first four games. They are tied with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Udinese-Calcio-c40789 on 8 points at top of the table.
