AC Milan’s predicted starting 11 (Part5)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Striker):
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is definitely a player that is going to change the cause of the games. Last season, it was Ibrahimovic who left to the Spanish club Barcelona and it was Samuel Eto’o who was involved in the “deal” and was swapped to the current Italian Champions, Inter Milan.
Many thought that his move to Barcelona was a silly mistake, just like many are still thinking that “Robinho” is a silly mistake made by AC Milan. However, he did disprove many by scoring against the Spanish club’s rivals, Real Madrid and helped Barcelona defeat them in both the legs during the Spanish La Liga and was able to wear the gold at the end of the season when Barcelona were crowned as La Liga Champions.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been a phenomenon throughout his career, as he started off from Ajax and helped them win the Dutch league title. One thing about Ibrahimovic that cannot be counted out is that he is considered to be a “luck charm” to all the clubs that he has been to.
Starting from Ajax he started to win the league title and then he joined the Italian club Juventus where he became a lethal force when it came down to goal scoring He also helped Juventus win the league title and was then transferred to Inter Milan. With his “fabulous” spell at Inter Milan, Ibrahimovic helped them win 2 league titles and was also the highest goal scorer of the Italian league as he played for AC Milan’s city rivals, Inter Milan.
Later, Inter Milan came under the Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho but it was Zlatan, who suffered as Mourinho did not really think that the striker was as good as Eto’o and involved him in a deal with Barcelona’s goal scoring sensation, Samuel Eto’o.
Eto’o was also a legend when it came down to finishing the ball into the net. However, Barcelona decided to take Ibracadabra and decided him to play at front. Ibrahimovic only managed to score 24 goals for the Spanish club throughout his season in the Spanish La Liga and he was criticized time and time again because of the “price” that he had been tagged with.
Many still say that he does not deserve the price tag that he carries as he is a total “failure” when it comes down to European football and he has never really emerged as an outstanding performer during his run in the Champions League. The Swedish footballer has proven this himself as he did not manage to score much for the club that is outside of Italy and did not really adapt the “attacking” football that Barcelona used to play.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic then said it in a press conference that he had no intentions of leaving the Spanish club, Barcelona and he are going to try to win his spot in the first team. These words were used by the striker because of the fact that two new strikers had already entered the club’s squad as Villa and Bojan, both were totally ready to perform for the Catalan giants.
Villa, the new signing, proved himself during the FIFA World Cup 2010 as he managed to score 5 goals throughout the tournament and was just left an assist short of wining the golden boot award which was eventually won by the German youngster, Thomas Muller.
Ibrahimovic is now going to back to Milan but this time with his former club’s rivals AC Milan. Ibrahimovic has said it time and time again that he wanted to play with the Brazilian legend Ronaldinho and with Ronaldinho playing as an attacking midfielder along with two other talented Brazilian strikers and with the Swede sensation Ibrahimovic featuring as a centre forward, AC Milan are going to produce a lot of goals.
AC Milan has made a wise decision with their new amazing signings and with Ibrahimovic, Pato, Ronaldinho and Robinho in the striking force, AC Milan are definitely one of the best attacking forces in football as no other team has deployed so many strikers at the same time.
