AC Transit in Oakland, why don't the drivers turn on the AC when weather gets hot?

Is it just in Oakland ? Do Muni bus drivers in SF do the same thing?

  2. Transit? I've never been on a Transit before, but maybe they want to be more efficient. And I don't know if the bus drivers in San Francisco do the same.

  3. have you ever asked the operator? sometimes thats

    all it takes (unless the A/c isn't working for some reason)
