Say you take the ACT and get a score of 30. Say i want to take it again and I get a lower score. Can I still send the score of 30 to colleges or do I have to send in the lower score?

  1. you can just send the higher score, but the act is also broken down into parts, so if you made higher on one section, but lower overall, send both scores, the college will only look at the highest for each section, you might even have improved enough in one section to bump your overall score up to 31!

    good luck

  2. Most colleges will take your highest score, no matter what.  There are also some colleges that average your scores. So, if you get a 28 next time, they would take a score of 29 for admission.
