ACT advice!!!!!!!!?

Question

I'm planning on taking the ACT and I have an option whether or not to take the writing portion. The college i'm going to doesn't require the writing portion but I'm not sure whether i should still take it. If someone has already taken the ACT before, please tell me if it would be better for me to take the writing portion or not.
