  1. not bad at all!  honestly, it's better than average.  A friend of mine got similar test scores to yours--low in math but high in english, and she got into a very good school despite her composite score being relatively low.  of course, she IS majoring in journalism, and so the math's likely to be overlooked; the case might be different for you.  my advice to you is that you should definitely take it again with a bit more math prep.  you should be fine.

  2. National average is a 21, so you did pretty good.  Now that you know what to expect when taking the test, I would take it again.  Practice tests help find your  own way of taking the tests and get you familiarized.

  3. That isn't too bad. Your english score is great, so you only have to improve on the math, which isn't hard to do. You probably just forgot some of the math concepts, so you should get some prep. books to review them. Go to amazon.com and look for ACT prep. books and look at the buyers ratings, and then pick a book. For the math, you may just have to review formulas and stuff, and your score will improve. Take practice exams under the timed conditions with no distractions so that you become more accustomed to the test. Your math score will improve, and that is basically the only thing weighing your score down. Your score will improve a lot if you just study a little more. Good luck.
