Question:

ACT section scoring?

If I think that I totally bombed the math section of the ACT but did quite well on the English, reading, and writing sections... and semi-mediocre on the science, is there any chance that I got a decent ACT score? Or is my math score totally going to kill it? How does the scoring work?

  1. Your composite or overall score is the average of your reading, English, math, and science scores (Reading + English + Math + Science/4). So it depends on how badly you bombed the math and how well you did on the other sections.
