I'm black and I recived a 19 on the ACT the first time through. I would really ike to get a 25 on my retake. I have been doing lots of studying. My only fear is that if I don't get a 25 or higher I won't get into the college of my choice. However I go to one of the hardest academic schools in the state of Wisconsin, and I have a B- GPA average. Will my race help me get into a school like UW-Madison???

  1. quite possibly

  2. you do know that average act for madison is 28. You would need to get a 30 be competitive.

Your gpa is around 3.0, but you need a 3.5+ to look competitive.

    Being black does not help.
