  1. #1 how old are you? grade school? secondary school? college? adult education?

#2 if you're still a minor, ask your parents to take you to a developmental pediatrician. the doctor will make some assessment tests and also interview you to determine if you have either ADD or Dyslexia, or both. he/she will also ask you to see a pyschologist so you  take some psychological and achievement tests as well. he/she will also refer you to see a special educator who makes assessments to determine if you show signs of ADD,Dyslexia or both

#3 if you happen  to have either one or both, it's not going to be the end of the world for you. don't worry. the developmental pediatrician, the special ed teacher, a therapist, and/or a reading specialist teacher can help you cope with your disability/ies in order for you to function well enough in school.

  2. well you need to have testing done, then they will go from there

also i have dyslexia and often people with dyslexia have some of the same symptoms as someone with ADD. when i was in grade school the teachers thought i had ADD. then when i got to 8th grade i was tested and found out i had dyslexia the whole time

so get tested and then you will know for sure

oh and if you have ADD you will be able to take meds to help

but if you have dyslexia theres no meds that can help at all

    good luck

  3. Smile, it sounds like your ahead of the game! Talk to your parents about your concerns, because they have to make the request to have you tested, the test can be given at your school or through a hospital ( at your school is better) after the test if you have a disability your school will help you, they will set goals that you can be successful at.  If you have both ADD and Dyslexia it is not the end of the world, the Special Education teachers are trained to work with students with disabilities, they will make your assignments fun and understandable. Keep your head up and dont get discouraged!  : )
