Do u mean "Garage Sales" ?  I dont know what the person is on about you answered your first question, but I have never heard of "Car Boot Sales" in Adelaide, on weekends or any other day, Garage Sales, yes, you can find them in the paper.

I think you would be referring to Trash and Treasure Markets. Yes. Adelaide DOES have them. The best one is at Gepps Cross, North of Adelaide. Its held in an old 'drive in movie place' It happens every Sunday, from around 7 till 2, (sellers queue earlier to get a good spot). Its usually crammed full of anything from fruit and veg, to antiques, to just people clearing out their unwanted stuff from their garage or house. Clothing new and secondhand. Man, the place is Fabulous! great way to spend a morning and grab a great bargain. Theres a cafe there too. Have fun!!Theres also the Pooraka Flea market not far from there as well, also on a Sunday.
