ADO Den Haag 5-1 FC Groningen, John van den Brom delighted with the win – Europa League play-offs

The 44-year-old tactician was obviously pleased with the fruitful contribution of Jens Toornstra, who scored a hat-trick. However, he was all praise for the entire team following the impressive victory on the home turf.
Brom added, “From the goalkeeper to the striker, they all fought for the win. There was so much willpower and belief in our game, but it is not good to forget football played by other side. They also played nice and scored a goal.”

referee blew the final whistle to end proceedings, the score-line read 5-1 in the favour of the home side.
ADO would now be confident to win the two-legged play-offs and play in the Europe’s secondary club competition. The return leg will be played at Euroborg Stadion on Sunday, May 29.
