ADSL and Static?

Hi I live in Holland, and ever since I installed the internet with KPN and het net my phones have so much static that I cannot use them anymore. Can anyone tell me how to remove this static on the phone?

  1. A filter for every phone on that line will do the job and if it doesn't then a inline filter before the first point/socket  may be needed in addition.


  2. Every telephone that is plugged into a telephone outlet in the house must have a DSL Filter installed in series with each phone line.  If you are using cordless phones, the cordless base unit must have a DSL Filter connected between the wall jack and the base unit.

  3. The reason you are getting static is the fact that your internet or DSL is interfering with your voice signle. You need a filter to take care of the issue. Many of the phone companies provide these filters. Once the filter is installed you will no longer experience static on your line.
