ADVANCED PLACEMENT question?

i've been considering AP CLASSES but I have a question

Do you take the AP course first and then at the end of the year you take the AP exam?

or

Do you take the AP exam to get into the AP course?

u take the course than at the end of the year u take the AP test

if u get a 3+ out of 5 u pass and its possible for you to get college credit for that course

on top of that u get a higher GPA if u take AP classes

you take the course, learn all the information that they jam pack into you, then you take the ap exam in may

then in july, you get your score report back which ranks it from a 1 to a 5. 1 being the worst and 5 being the best

You take the class first and then take the exam sometime in May. Heads up, I've taken a few AP classes and they are hard. If you are not willing to put in the effort, don't bother taking them. I worked by butt off all year and I still ended up with a four out of five. If you are taking it next year, good luck!!!!
