Following the game, De Boer stressed that his side put in their weakest performance of the season so far and expressed his disappointment.
“We have to do a lot better than we did today. I reckon this was our worst performance of the season so far. I really don't understand this, and I'm very disappointed. It's not the first time we have failed to start fighting until we were reduced to 10 men”
“We clearly didn't give our all when we still had 11 men on the pitch and this is something that we have to talk about. This can't happen again”, De Boer said while talking to the media.
