the AZ management turned down their offer. AZ have now turned down another bid as they demand an increase in the offer.
Reports suggest that AZ are demanding 5 million Euros for the Icelandic International, while the Amsterdammers are unwilling to go any farther than 3.5 million Euros. Danny Blind, Ajax’s technical manager, has revealed that his side is considering another
bid for the Icelandic forward’s signature.
“We will talk with AZ this week about Kolbeinn. No one benefits when this is going to be a lengthy matter”, Blind was quoted as saying to the media.
Sigthorsson had an impressive debut season with AZ in Eredivisie, scoring 15 goals in 32 appearances. However, his five goals against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VVV-Venlo-c40915 have worked their magic, earning him interest from a host of elite European clubs.

Reports suggest that should both parties successfully negotiate the transfer fee, the 21-year-old striker would sign a four-year contract with the Amsterdammers.
