Reports from the Netherlands capital confirm that Ajax Amsterdam manager, Frank de Boer, has expressed interest in signing RSC Anderlecht’s Dmitri Bulykin in the ongoing summer transfer market. The 31-year-old played the entire 2010/11 campaign on loan at

The veteran striker performed exceptionally at Kyocera Stadion in the season ended, scoring 21 goals in 30 appearances. His good performances have not gone unnoticed as the Amsterdam giants have expressed their desire to add the striker to their ranks before
the 2011/12 season commences.
De Boer revealed that the vastly experienced striker is an interesting player and would certainly add a lot of value to the Amsterdammers’ attacking third.
“He [Bulykin] is a very interesting player for us. He's the type of attacker who can make something happen in the closing stages of a game. We need someone like that”, De Boer was quoted as saying to the media.
After the 2010/11 season concluded, ADO were keen to hold on to their star striker by offering him a permanent contract. However, the outfit from The Hague lacked the financial resources to sign the lanky forward.
The 31-year-old has an ongoing contract with Anderlecht that is due to expire in the summer of 2012 and reports suggest that the Belgian giants are looking to cash-in on the striker if a good offer comes in.
The Amsterdammers are looking to bring another striker to their squad to support Kolbeinn Sigthorsson in the upcoming season and see the 31-year-old as a perfect addition to their ranks.
The Dutch trainer is also looking to send http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Geoffrey-Castillion-c14534 on loan.
“I am going to talk with Geoffrey about his future tomorrow, and then we will see what we do. A rental maybe. This is perhaps the best solution for everyone”, the 41-year-old concluded.
The young striker is subject to interest from fellow Dutch sides, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sparta-Rotterdam-c40567, and it seems unlikely that the youngster would be pursuing his career at Amsterdam Arena in the new season.
