to Jose Bosingwa, whose contract at Stamford Bridge is about to expire.

FC, Arsenal FC and Borussia Dortmund.
The 23-year-old defender is a product of Ajax’s famous youth academy and started his professional football career at Amsterdam Arena in 2007/08 season. The defender improved rapidly and became one of the key players in De Joden’s back-line in the last couple
of years. The 23-year-old has made 108 appearances for Ajax and found the back of the net nine times.
The towering defender earlier desired to make a move away from Amsterdam Arena before the start of 2011/12 campaign for pasture greener. With the Blues now taking keen interest, coupled with the defender’s wish to take the next step in his career, it seems
evident that the Dutch International would be pursuing his career outside of Netherlands in the upcoming season.
Reports suggest that an offer in the region of 18 million Euros would be enough to lure the Dutch International away from the Amsterdammers.
On the other hand, De Joden have set their sights on Crystal Palace’s Nathaniel Clyne as a replacement for Van der Wiel. The 20-year-old has an ongoing contract that keeps him with the Eagles until the summer of 2012. The club management tried to renew his
contract, but the promising youngster has denied signing a contract extension with his club and seeks to take the next step in his career.
Reports suggest that the Amsterdammers are looking to launch a bid for Clyne, while the Blues are expected to table a bid for Van der Wiel in the coming days.
