The Amsterdammers prolific striker, Mounir El Hamdaoui, could miss the league Cup final clash against the Tukkers due to a hamstring injury. Ajax were training for the final on Thursday, but the Moroccan International missed the training session due to an
injury.
The Moroccan international started his professional career with SBV Excelsior in 2001/02 season, but his reputation was build while playing for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AZ-c38571 Alkmaar. The 26-year-old striker scored an exceptional 50 goals in 80 appearances for AZ before joining Ajax
at the start of this season.
After the departure of Luis Suarez to Liverpool FC in the winter transfer market, Hamdaoui has been the most consistent striker for the Amsterdammers; he is the leading goal-scorer for the Amsterdammers, scoring 13 goals in 26 appearances.
It will be a huge blow for the Amsterdam giants should the Moroccan international miss the final against the Domestic rivals at the De Kuip Stadion. However, reports from Amsterdam Arena suggest that Frank de Boer believes the 26-year-old striker will recover
in time for the clash against FC Twente.
