AFL, have you ever grown up with/ been to the same school as a famous (or not so famous) footballer???

Question

Tayte Pears, (bombers, new recruit) went to my school and was the year above my year.

What were they like? Did you know they were gonna make it to the big time?

Tayte was extremely popular and a bit up himself, but not a bully, very happy, hot. But he wasn't the nicest guy because he knew that he was good and he flaunted it.

We thougth he would get into the AFL, but perhaps not such a high pick.And we didnt expect him to debut so soon!!!

Capper was a withdrawn kid at school he had a speech impediment

Rod Austin was my PE teacher at Brentwood high(Hitler)

he was a hard b*****d

Ricky Olerenshaore? lived in my street (Brandon Park)

i knocked around with his brother

My son played with Travis Varco (geelong) for many years(SA) the first time i saw Trav played he was 5 i knew then he was something special

tom hawkins (geelong) went to the school down the road

Adam Hunter.. bit toffee nose.. but ok bloke.. He was recruited to swan districts, perth,wa from bunbury, couldnt say he has natural ability, he was taught well and learnt from some champions and was fortunate to have that opportunity..

My hubby was coached by Alan Daniels (Shorty) of Footscray, he is a character!!

He also played Winstin Abraham from Kangaroos/Dockers hes a real laxed back fella!!

not me personaly but my dad went to school with Stuart Dew and he also hung out with him.

Dew started at Salisbury FC in Adelaide

I went to school with Clint Bizzel from Melbourne football club. He has retired now but everyone at my school past and present are surprised that he made the cut to the AFL considering that we are a prominent Rugby Union school!!

Guess BBC Brisbane Boys College is just full of talent, Kieren Perkins was a former student also!!!
