  1. Geelong for me, hawthorn will lose by about 25 points. Lance Franklins form has been going down a bit, and with Garry Ablett and Paul Chapman whom have both have played great footy, the hawks will lose for sure.

  2. Hawthorn will win by 100 points i hope

  3. it will be geelong

  4. Geelong, come out firing after a thrashing by the Bulldogs the week before ;)

  5. At the moment it looks like Geelong again, but AFL is a very unpredictable game =)

Should be a great match, I'm looking foward to it!

  6. Not sure at the moment, last week Hawthorn was missing 5 of it's starting 22 so it's hard to judge when the team isn't at full strength. Geelong looked awesome on the weekend, and by the past weeks efforts i'd have to say Geelong.

I hope that both teams are fully fit and all avaialable to play come round 17, that would be good.

    - Go Hawks

  7. Geelong - They're simply on fire!

Yep smashitup cant wait to see the cat and dog fight the week b4!

  8. geelong will kill them, as scarlett will dominate franklin

  9. Geelong with Buddy kicking 1.13

  10. On current form, Geelong will win easily. But Hawthorn have a lot good players to come back which will make it a close game. But I think Geelong will still have the edge.

  11. I'm not confident about it (as a Cats fan).  I was looking at our defence wondering who was going to match up on Buddy for height.  Harry Taylor makes me feel better being just as tall as Scarlett but we're still a couple of inches short.  We'll need to rotate backs on such a good forward and then keep an eye on a few of the others.  I can't see us stopping him and his mates so we'll need to score plenty.

Fortunately, at the other end of the field I don't think the Hawks have the defence to match the Cats forwards so it should be a goal feast.

Hawks by 10 ... 145 to 135.  But I tipped West Coast to win last night so don't bet ya pension cheque on it!

  12. you can not go past geelong!!!! and what they did to west coast tonight was a massacre, G.Ablett for brownlow

  13. geelong for sure, hawthorn lost 2 games, against bulldogs, and roos, they won against adelaid and other teams by a small margin, they struggled in some games, and showed alot of weakness, and even though geelong ain't that bright this yr, they got alot of Pros, that can destory hawthorn, the real question is cats vs dogs

  14. Who knows.. depends on who plays on the day.

What about the commentators though? How are they going to choose between their two favourite darlings? What's it gonna be - the Buddy Franklin show or the Gary Ablett show? Decisions, decisions! I don't think I will be able to watch with the sound on, they drive me crazy. It's like the whole game revolves around those players when they play. Wouldn't wanna make them out to be one-man teams.

  15. Geelong for sure... saying that it will be a close game.

  16. i dont know

ill tell you in 5 weeks

  17. um, id normally barrack for Geelong and say Geelong would win but im sick of hearing about ugly Ablett and how awesome he is so im guna barrack for the Hawks and say that the Hawks will win.

  18. I will be sitting front row at that game i bought tickets like a month ago and i honestly believe that hawks will win, hawks tend to play better when they are the underdogs as there is no pressure to win as everyone has already decided they will lose.

Geelong is a strong team, they have ablett and corey ect, but if you think about it hawks have mitchell, hodge, franklin ect. It will be a really close game, but i think Franklin will unleash and go on a goal spree and i think hawks will win.

  19. Hawthorn
