Question:

AFQT score and getting a GT score of 110?

I just took the prac test with my recruiter and got a 63... I need to work on my maths... would I be capable of getting a GT of 110? or do I need to score a higher AFQT score?

  1. Since math doesn't get pluralized you might want to check up on your English too. With a total score of 63 you shouldn't have a problem getting a GT score of 110 as long as you have good general comprehension. A lot of people are book smart but have no common sense therefore their General Intelligence (GT) score could suffer. Good luck!

They make study guides that help you with the asvab.  Most of the time you can even check them out for free from your local library.  I recomend checking one out if you really want to improve your score.  I probably will not teach you tons of things you don't know, but it will familiarize you with the content and layout of the test.  It will also make you see what areas you need to work on more than others.
