I do not know what my "code" is. Nintendo help was too vague. I have a connection, and I registered online at Nintendo. Now I am to enter a code I can not find. Also..what channel do I use? Do I have to pay a fee? Do I have to buy certain games?

  1. Theres no fee

  2. only certain games can play online.

you can tell if a game can be played online if there is a blue circle that says Wi-Fi on the game case.

most games that play online have an option that says "Wi-Fi" somewhere in the main menu.

no, there is no fee...not counting your monthly internet bill of course.

  3. uhhh slap in a game and play. what r u trying to do... play online, internet... you have to buy a wii points card and download the internet from the wii shop channel to go on internet

  4. go to wii settings find wii connections or something connect to the connection you have go to an online game play online and beat everyone

  5. There is no fee.

Only certain games are online playable. The back of the box of the game will tell you if it is.

To play online, boot up the game you want to play, and on the main menu of the game there is usually a WiFi option. Once you hit that button, it will issue you your "friend code" for that game. Using this, you can find other friends and then play against them.

Some of the better games to play online:

    Mario Kart Wii

    Mario Strikers Charged

    Super Smash Bros

    Battalion Wars 2

    Dr. Mario Rx (Wiiware)

    Hope this helped.

  6. Very simple. Pop in a WFC compatable game (Mario Kart Wii has great service), go to the WiFi Connection option, and start a random match.

Friend Codes are only needed if you want to set up a match with a specific person.

There are no fees & no extra channels (Mario Kart does have a channel, but it's optional). However, not all games work on WFC. On the game box, you should see a blue circle that says Nintendo WiFi, in one of the corners.
