  1. The Bible says "it is better to be hot or cold rather than lukewarm".

I personally think it would be easier to convert the sinner than it would be to show the false saint the errors of his ways. However,  both are going to h**l if they don't repent.

  2. Agree. Didn't God say He would have us hot or cold, but lukewarm people will be spewed out of His mouth?

  3. How about neither.  Don't be a sinner, and don't lie about how holy you are.

  4. Disagree.  There is no such thing as a "false saint".  That is just another type of sinner.

Now, if you talk about a saint who is struggling in his life, that's a different story.  The Bible says that a righteous man may fall 7 times, but he'll get up again.  Not so with the sinner.  The sinner NEVER repents of his sins.  He falls in sin and just continues to wallow in his sin.  God is looking for repentance and faith.

I trust that this helps to clarify things just a little.

  5. Why are you asking us to judge?

  6. I would choose a repentant sinner over a self righteous hypocrite.

    If thats what you mean.

1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

  7. There's no deception in being an open sinner, it's pure and final. A false Saint...defies reason.

  8. LOL....Sorry that makes no sense.

    A Saint is a "given"....it can't be false.

  9. the answer to that is truth and whether or not God respects truth better than duplicity. Too many angels of the television variety are into donations rather than the love of God and the salvation of His people.

An open sinner isn't a liar. His or her contributions to the welfare of humanity are open and honest. They don't care!

  10. Honesty is the best policy

  11. All of us fall short. Even Saints. And we live by: Judge not, lest ye be judged.

  12. Agreed. Jesus told a parable about two men who went to the temple to pray. One was a sinner who bowed his head, beat his breast, and did not even dare raise his eyes to heaven for remorse. The other was a highly respected priest who proudly thanked God for making him better than other men. Jesus said, "Now guess which man's sins are forgiven?"

  13. Ah i hate when people say people are going to h**l that not true thats why people turn away from christianity we go to church we come home that's all we do we are no better we don't really praise god we think we are doing good just going to church. We as christians should be doing something to help them not tell them they are going to h**l if they dont change that would make them do it for the wrong reasons and and yes i agree with you an open sinner is better.

  14. What would it matter? Different sides of the same boat. Better to be a humble sinner.

  15. A good answer to Pascal's wager.  I agree.
