  1. No problems, but can I ride a horse around the streets of Melbourne?

  3. as with the first person to answer.. I need to be able to drive to reach my place of employment...

the buses do not start running until I am already at work and working ..  and I work approximately 20 odd Km's away.. too far to walk .. lol and I am NOT fit enough to ride a pushbike.. .( plus the terrain is not really good for it)

  4. Dude, embargoes on essential resources never work.

After the fuel strike is done, the gas companies would say **** you, and raise the prices two fold.

  5. Not me.. need to drive to get to work to make moeny to eat and pay housing etc.

drivers are needed to get products you buy to the stores... those drivers need to drive to get moeny to pay their living expenses too.

OH and gas stations would be first hurt... they make very very little profit margin on gas mosty they make it on the extra stuff they sell. so even if you had sucess at a short term and everyone quit driving there would be a huge economic problem for gas station owners and they would either have to make up the monetary loss somehow or go out of biz. If they go out of biz less gas available woudl create shortage driving up prices (supply / demand) .

  6. Hey - I would love to, but I have to drive to make a living.
