  1. Let your dentist know this. There are ways of making the tooth numb that are less invasive and less scary! Having an injection in your mouth is different then an injection in your arm.

  2. THAT SUCCKKKSS!

I have had so many cavities. I was 5 a needed a root canal. (I have no idea why, I guess my parents never really pushed the brushing issue)

Yes, a needle WILL be needed, but trust me, it will be worth it. You'll feel a slight pinch, then NOTHING.

So close your eyes, think of something you love, and ask for anithesia if you really can't do it.

  3. Well there is a needle involved but ,when I had a cavity I got the laughing gas!  I couldn't feel the needle go in me!  I thought about getting another cavity just so I could get the gas!  It was the coolest thing,I felt Like I was dreaming!  So it's no big deal,  Ask for gas!

    Good luck!

  4. If it is really small, they might not have to numb you at all. The drill feels "bumpy". If you do need a shot, they numb it up a little with a qtip and a gel like Anbesol(?), that stuff they advertise on t.v. if you have a tooth ache. When they poke you with the needle, it feels like a tiny pinch for only about 3 seconds. It's not bad. Like I said though, they might not have to numb you at all. Don't worry, you'll do fine. If you are really nervous, just shut your eyes when they go to numb you.

  5. it will somewhat hurt
