AHH! HELPP!!!! My chinese hamster is feaking me out!?

Whenever my hamster is sleeping, it makes this REALLY loud SQEECK! It scares the heck out of my so i shake the cage and she wakes up. Is she dreaming or in pain? 5 star question!

probly sleeping and if ur shaking the cage alot probly becuz ur hampster is always scared. it would be a very good idea to instead of shaking put like food near or somthing hapsters seem to always no if ur offering food if there sleeping or not

She's dreaming, or snoring. Sometimes hamsters snore.

Never ever wake a sleeping hamster. That'll make them grumpier than h**l, and they'll end up liking to bite you. Hard. Don't shake and rattle the cage when she does it -- It's normal for them to squeak every now and again.

never shake or wake a hamster don't wake your hamster during the morning and early afternoon, that's just like someone waking you up at the peak of your sleep at night. if you want to wake hime up do it after 3 in the afternoon. watch out though some hamsters get startled by this and may bite you. you want to be on good terms with your hammy, yea? make sure he's ok with you doing this.
