  1. You have alteast 5 years to decide! So step one... BREATHE!

History teachers will most likely make the least amount of money. Archaeologists can make money, you just have to build the right kind of connections and networks. It could help if you stumble upon an ancient civilization under some sand or something.

Interior designing is not necesarily something you need a degree for. So you could major in something like history or psych. If you build a good 'look book' from how you decorated/designed your house and your friends and families house then you should be fine.

Psychologists can make good money. However, it is one of the most popular majors.

All sound like a ton of fun, but you have tons of time to decide. You could do a double major plus a minor.

(example: major in history, major in psych, minor in interior design) so you could cover all three interests, and let the wind blow you whichever way you want to!

Just in another year or so, start to look at colleges that offer majors/minors in the areas you want to explore!

    GOOD LUCK!!!

  2. chilllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll... stop thinking so far ahead into the future. it ruins the present. take highschool classes in the fields ur interested to see whether ud like them or not, thats the only advice i could give. who cares about pay, it only matters if u enjoy ur job and u can live off of the salary

  3. It all sounds like an interesting life your planning there. But I'm kind of partial to the archaeology choice. I always wanted to conduct the first archaeological dig on Mars or maybe the Moon first. hehe

You could start with an archaeology gig while you’re young and save the teaching part for when your body gets older. (After you've made that ultimate discovery that changes the history books!) :)

A minor in design could make those dig sites more colorful and efficient as well. Combining the two could also give you an edge when it comes time to help design your museum displays for future generations to enjoy.

Helping people also fits well within this path as you make your transition into the education field. Use that knowledge and experience you acquired along such an impressive journey. Build the confidence and self-esteem of your students leaving you with a legacy to be proud of.

As for the money:  Archaeologists acquire funding from many different resources. This is where a good "friend network" will come in handy.

I do wish you lots of luck on life’s journey and I hope you base your career decision on something that will make you happy. Not just on the money.

    Kitty :)
