AHH Typhoon! what should i do?

I live in Shanghai and... the news reports that there will be a typhoon tomorrow!!

Im so scared im only 14 i dun wanna die! i live in a condo, 21st floor... what precautions should i take?

its impossible for my family to move now... plzzzz help? =(

Obvious isn't?  Seek shelter in a sturdy building or evacuate your home temporarily.

get supply of water, food and stay inside well secured building. Keep a radio and some way to contact people if something bad happens. Stay calm and things will be okay. What does your country suggest? will there be town or city safety areas for people to evacuate too?

Um normally you don't move because of Typhoons. Also , I just went thru fung wong which is the one i'm assuming will hit you, the winds are down to 50mph, I got winds of about 85mph and it was nothing. I go thru about 6-10 typhoons every summer and not once have I died.. obviously. I also lived in Florida for many years and went thru many hurricanes. I lost a few homes... Typhoons aren't anything compared to what I've experienced in Florida, also you have to remember this is a common occourace over here and the building withstand better than in Florida.

It's no longer a typhoon but a tropical storm
