Question:

AHH i need help with my life and weight?

ok my life isnt anything special. i live in the frieken mountains go to an alternative school. which the ppl that graduated this year was basically the whole class. im the baby of the bunch. i have 3 more years to go. i love this guy. and i just cant stop thinking about him. i wanna loose so much weight so i am becoming vegatarian and not just so i loose weight i didnt eat meat much any way. and now i am going full on vegan. and i a proud. im just rele stuck i wanna loose weight so bad. but i need some advice. i dont no how to loose it faster. vegan helps. but i cant rele just walk to the gym. its like 15 miles to the gas station the about an hour to the mall. life sucks for me. and b/c of this alternative school. i go only two days and stay home for the rest of the week. i mean for gosh sakes i get excited to go grocery shopping. im trying my best not to eat so much but its hard does any one no how to drop at least 30 pounds b 4 school starts again... OH MAN I HAVE NO WHERE ELSE TO GO

  1. These are both good suggestions: Fresh air and brisk mountain walks for an hour every day will clear your mind and help get the weight off.  

    Or have you got a bike? That will make getting places faster but is still healthy and will encourage you to get out and about.

    Find some good vegan websites with advice on nutrition so you get the balance in your new diet right and you'll start to feel 100% better.

    And once you start to feel fitter, fresher and better about yourself you'll be glowing and attractive to even nicer boys by the time school starts again ;)


  2. okay so it sounds like you live out in the middle of no where, are there any kind of trails you could walk. if not then just walk/jog/run down around the house several times a day. If you keep up the physical exercise the weight will come off.

  3. Stop eating junk food.

    Make up the bulk of your meals with bread, pasta, rice, beans, peas, lentils, nuts, seeds, fruits and veggies.

    Eat lots of dark green leafy vegetables such as mustard, kale and collards.

    If you are serious about losing weight, you will do your best to make 30 minutes or more for aerobic exercise every day.

  4. I ran into a friend of mine I hadn't seen in a long time. She had always been very overweight and on every kind of diet there was, but to no avail. The day I saw her I didn't recognize her until she spoke to me, and I was amazed.

    She explained that it dawned on her after all her dieting trials, that if she wanted a child size body, she simply had to eat child size portions.

    So, all she did was walk 30 minutes a day, and eat normal sensible food, but in very small portions.

    Made a believer out of me!

  5. First of all, don't do this for another person, do this for yourself!!! YOU are the one who needs to be happy about your body, not the rest of the world. If you are serious about this, go to your doctor and ask to be given a check-up, and discuss just how much you should really lose, for your body size. Be sensible about how you diet. You should only lose about two pounds a week to diet safely, the more you lose in a hurry, the harder it will be to keep it off. Keep the junk food out of your home, replace it with healthy alternatives. If you feel the urge to snack, eat things like raw veggies and low cal dips. I know what it is like to be on a diet, and I know how hard it is to resist temptation. Exercise with what you have. You don't need a fancy gym to help, there are many ways to exercise without the machinery. Walking and swimming are two really good ways to help you. Also, go  online and look up safe, doctor approved exercises you can do at home. Good luck, and remember you are a beautiful PERSON!!  :)

  6. Life is only as good as you make it

    You don't say how much you weigh now.  My concern is that too many want to lose and get to a certain weight and really are not thinking about the effects on the body and the relation of the weight and height.

    If someone is only going to like you because of physical reasons - you have a physical relationship.  Better for them to care for you because of who and what you are.  

    If you want to lose weight - do it because that is what *YOU* want to do.  Do it because it is a healthy choice for you - - meaning don't get to the point of eating so little that you end up hurting yourself.

    Cut out the junk food and eat foods that are good for you and meet the needs that your body has.

    Start to exercise.  Even if it is only a 30 minute walk - it is better than no walking.  Yoga is something that you may want to look into - great to loosen muscles, great for the body.

    Be wise in your choices and you will be the weight that you need to be - for YOU.
