AIM 6 uninstall problem?

Question

Trying to uninstall AIM-i never use it...anyway, i go into control panel and try to uninstall it from there...a thing pops up that says "complete installation before trying to uninstall" and then another thing pops up from my pc security saying that a virus has been detected...this happens everytime!!! can anyone help me?

Okay, in order to uninstall aim, you have to have the complete file downloaded, so go back to aim.com, and install it again, or install a later version.. after the installation is complete, go to control panel, add or remove features, and click change/remove button after you select the aim program, and if this doesn't work.. I'm not sure what to tell you.. the same things happening to me with other programs.
