AIM vs Google search?

Question

Lately I downloaded a new version of AIM when I did this the AIM toolbar came with it. However it also overrode the Google search. It used to do a Google search every time I entered a word into the address bar. Now however it does an AIM search. Any ideas how I can get it to go back to a Google search.

Aol stopped running a website and now directs all searches to google's server and will return google results.

'uninstall a program' or 'add or remove programs'

a look for aim toolbar and uninstall.
