It's my third day of living in the dorm on campus and the IT department has my computer's ethernet and wireless card's physical addresses (which you need to give them to connect to the internet either via hard line or wireless) and I can access the internet perfectly.
That being said, AOL Instant Messenger program will not log me in. Prior to dorm life, I could connect just fine at my house. Now, whenever it starts up and tries to auto sign in or when I click on to sign in myself, it will display, above "Screen Name:", Connection lost.
Do I need to use a proxy to log in?
I am at M S&T, if you are there and had this problem, too.
