2) Is a month enough time to prepare?

3) what and all did you dod, like what were the key steps through out the training?

4) what was the most difficult part for you or for everyone there?

  1. I dont know, as i have never been through it, but have fun!  My husband LOVED AA.  I also enjoyed watching him repel.  Its so cool!  You are overcome with pride watching someone repel from a blackhawk!  Good Luck with everything

  2. dude dont be a little girl... air assault... is probably one of the easiest schools ever...

  3. There isn't anything hard about AA school. It was a consolation prize for losing their jump status in the mid 1980's. You don't do anything there that you would not do in the 82nd (both 18th airborne corp), they just teach you about helicopter operations in a school environment rather than during intensive training cycle.

You'll do some rappelling from an unstable platform, fast rope, sling loading, mount and dismount etc. You'll do a couple of road marches and suddenly be declared AIR ASSAULT. No big deal, you still won't get jump pay.
